Lucy has recently completed the Quilliam briefing paper, Radicalisation on University Campuses: a case study.  In addition, she has also authored In Defence of British Muslims: A response to BNP racist propaganda (August 2009) and co-authored Immigrant, Muslim, Female: Triple Paralysis? (July 2009).

Lucy took her undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and Theology at the University of Manchester, where she specialized in Islam. Her MA, also taken in Manchester, was in South Asian Studies, where she specialized in the diverse expressions of Islam on the subcontinent, particularly Sufism. She also has experience in Public Relations, having worked for a number of different London-based PR companies. She is also actively involved in feminist issues, particularly improving the representation of women in British politics.
