Holocaust Memorial Day

Quilliam directors Ed Husain and Maajid Nawaz attended national Holocaust Memorial Day on 25th January 2009.

The event took place in Coventry, with 900 dignitaries in attendance, including European Ambassadors, Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, Communities Secretary Hazel Blears and Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks.

Muslim groups included the largest representative body, the British Muslim Forum (BMF). Sadly, as in previous years, the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) boycotted Holocaust Remembrance again this year.
