
Imran Khan is the Pakistan Country Coordinator at Quilliam. Since joining the organisation in April 2010, Imran has been involved in expanding the scope of our counter-extremism work in Pakistan, doing networking and advocacy with various stakeholders, including the Pakistani government, the Pakistan Army, Islamabad-based diplomats, thinks tanks and Pakistani activists. Imran is also the Head of Counter-Extremism Training and Strategic Communications at Khudi, a sister organisation of Quilliam Foundation. He has travelled extensively in Pakistan, helping Khudi trainers organise workshops in university campuses.
Prior to joining Quilliam Foundation, Imran worked as a Communications Officer at the International Committee of the Red Cross. He also worked as a sub-editor for Daily Times, a leading liberal English newspaper of Pakistan. Imran has done a B.A in Political Science and International Relations from Government College University Lahore (2006) and M.Sc in anthropology from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad (2011).
