Fatima Mullick is Head of Pro-Democracy Activism, and has been involved with Quilliam's work since its inception in 2008. She is co-author of Pakistan: Identity, Ideology & Beyond.

Fatima is also National Coordinator of Khudi, a youth initiative working to challenge extremism and promote a democratic culture within Pakistan. In her role, Fatima works with a wide range of stakeholders from government, educational institutions, civil society and the media to mobilise youth across the country to engage in counter-extremism efforts, democratic engagement and social activism. Her work has led her to travel extensively within Pakistan, organising events, managing campaigns, developing brands, conducting outreach and coordinating a team of youth activists along the way.

Prior to joining Quilliam, she worked as a researcher at Group4Securicor, providing country analyses on the South Asian region.She has travelled extensively throughout Pakistan, working on various development projects along the way.

Fatima holds a BSc in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick (2006) and an MSc in International Relations from SOAS (2007), with a special focus on the politics of the Middle East and South Asia.
